From 2011–2015, I worked on a freelance basis for the Vancouver Book & Magazine Fair Society. Formerly called The Word On The Street Vancouver, the festival was rebranded in 2013 as Word Vancouver, and is Western Canada’s largest free celebration of literacy and reading.
As a contract worker for the festival, I handled website design, merchandise design of t-shirts and tote bags, a fundraising video, and the graphic design of some marketing materials.

I worked as the primary photographer for the festival from 2012–2015. Read more about that here.
In 2015, I filmed and edited a fundraising video for the festival based on a script provided by the staff.
