The Association of Book Publishers of BC (ABPBC) launched ReadLocalBC.ca in 2017. I designed and built the website, as well as wrote and curated the content from February 2017–June 2019.
I created hundreds of posts—from book lists to author interviews, coordinated excerpts with publishers, and shared events and news items. I also commissioned author essays, assigned articles to freelancers, and coordinated series such as the National Poetry Month features and Holiday Gift Guides. In addition to writing, I created an editorial and social schedule, and developed an audience through social media.
